Spa Water Treatment Options

Since mankind decided that hot tubs would be fun we have had to face the challenge of keeping that water clear and safe. Chlorine and Bromine have been in use since almost day one. Both have their advantages. They kill everything. The down side is also that they kill everything. By that I mean that Chlorine and Bromine are both caustic chemicals. That is both how they function and what makes them less desirable. Not only do they kill germs and bacteria but they are harmful to your skin, hair, bathing suits, spa jets, pump impellers, pets and environment. With the heightened awareness of the environment and our own physical health, there has been a wide variety of alternatives to the old standards.

Minerals can be used to treat the spa water with less harmful effects. First, Copper can be used to treat your water and keeps stuff from growing in your water. It is a lot safer for your skin, hair and health, and won't cause premature break down of your pump and jet components. Still, because it does a good job of killing things you need to use care when you empty your spa. Some areas have banned using copper to treat water because if it does end up in the water shed it will kill fish and algae.

Another popular choice is Silver and zinc. I would just recommend sticking with the liquid based versions. You should never use anything directly in the filter area of the spa because you do not want the risk of anything being sucked into the water pump.

Ozone can also be effective in water treatment. It works by exposing ultra violet light to air which forms an energetic oxidizer. It destroys algae, viruses and bacteria. Again you should know how to use your system properly. Avoid over exposure to ozone while using the spa. No ozone bubbles should be entering the spa during occupancy. Also you should not be able to smell ozone while you are in the spa.

One thing that a lot of spa owners forget about is checking your spa water pH. Maintaining the proper pH level can greatly improve the effectiveness of the water treatment. Spa water that is not properly balanced can cause irritation to eyes, and mucous membranes. Just because you keep a handle on your chemical treatment, do not get lazy about checking the pH.

Finally, circulation of the water. Stagnant water, especially warm stagnant water is a breeding ground for life. Regular circulation of the water for significant periods of time will reduce the need for chemicals and increases the effectiveness of the spas filtration. It is better overall for your spa pump to run for three to four hours at a time for two to three times per day as opposed to running for thirty minutes at a time ten times per day. If your spa only runs for thirty minutes it does no have enough time to properly filter all the spa water.

The bottom line is that yo want to be able to enjoy your spa for years to come. However like your car, regular maintenance can have a profound influence on that. If you maintain your car, change the oil, replace the filters, rotate the tires, you stand a much better choice of enjoying your vehicle with fewer unpleasant surprises. The same goes for your spa.

Heavenly Spa Therapies

Spa treatments are the only methods that soothe, rejuvenate and revitalize the body, soul and spirit. There are many ancient and modern methods of spa treatments. In this article series we will explore the most delicious and beneficial ones.

Thalassotherapy

Thalassotherapy is from the Greek word thalassos, meaning "sea" It is the therapeutic use of seawater to treat various diseases. It is said that trace elements of magnesium, potassium, calcium sulphates and sodium, found in seawater, are absorbed through the skin providing medical benefits to the user. Seawater, seaweed, algae, mud and sand are all key ingredients of Thalassotherapy. Thalassotherapy is always done on the coast as sea water loses its healing quality quickly after being stored. So it is best to go to a spa near the sea to enjoy the benefits of Thalassotherapy.

The health benefits of pure sea water have been proven over hundreds of years. Mud baths, underwater showers, hydro-massage, aromatherapy, and seaweed, mud and algae wraps are all used in Thalassotherapy to revitalize and improve circulation of the body. The different forms are used according to the disease and patient temperament. Thalassotherapy has been found to help patients suffering from hypertension, arteriosclerosis, asthma, bronchitis, muscle atrophy, rheumatic arthritis, weight loss, cellulite reduction, post-natal toning, back problems, water retention, depression and sleeping disorders.

Types of Thalassotherapy

There are many different kinds of Thalassotherapy, mainly

Ionization- In this the seawater is ionized with negative ions and is then inhaled or sprayed. This is a wonderful method for those suffering from upper respiratory tract problems.

Hydro massage- In this massage is preformed with the patient and masseuse inside the water in a tub or pool

Balneotherapy- underwater massages where jets of water are used.

Vinothérapie- a combination of thermal spring water, indigo-elements with wine and grape extracts are mixed into Seaweed, mud or algae wraps. This method helps to strength blood vessels and encourages circulation

Balneotherapy-water-based seaweed, mud or algae therapies that use seawater or thermal spring water. This tremendously improves circulation.

Massages

Massages are an ancient method used for centuries to treat pains, injuries and disease. In a massage structured or unstructured pressure is applied, manually with the hands or feet or with aids.

The health benefits of massage are relaxing and improved circulation. They are especially beneficial for pain management and stress management.

Types of massages

There are many different massages, originating from all over the world

Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage- Abhyanga is performed by two masseuses working in tandem, using a heated blend of specially selected herbal oils. This massage originated in India.

Barefoot Deep Tissue- Barefoot Deep Tissue is a blend of Eastern barefoot techniques with Western manual medicine. Massage is applied by the masseuse’s feet and no oils are used.

Deep tissue massage- Deep tissue techniques are intended for more focused massage work. Specific joint, muscle or muscle group, are accessed through the deeper layers of the soft tissue.

Foot or sole massage- Foot massage is practiced by the Chinese who believe that each spot on the sole of the foot corresponds to an internal organ. The ailments are healed when the aching spots of the sole are treated by massage.Hot

Stone Massage – is done by using particular stones. The heat of the stones is great for stress reduction. The hardness of the stones allows the masseuse to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure.

Neuromuscular therapy- Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is used for pain relief and precise problems. NMT reduces pain, tension, postural imbalance, and lengthens and strengthens tissues.

How To Replace A Jacuzzi Spa Pump

A quality spa is going to give you little trouble over the years but never the less at some point you will need to replace a Jacuzzi spa pump. But not to worry its not that difficult.

Your pump is an integral part of the functioning of your hot tub. Water flows from the tub into the filter and then back into the tub. The pump is an integral part of making this entire process work of keeping the water flowing.

In the pump are parts that move and when there are moving parts things wear out. When parts wear out they need to be replaced or you will need to replace the entire pump.

If you like fixing things then rebuilding a pump might not be a problem at all. In fact it might be a project you enjoy but you do need to be careful that rebuilding can cost more than actually buying a new pump.

You need to be cautious because parts can be quite expensive to replace. Sadly too often replacing an entire pump is often cheaper than replacing the pieces. So make sure you know what you are getting into.

Most times you will get some warning that a part is about to die. Occasionally a pump will just pack it in. If you hear low pitched wining it can be caused by reduction in water flow usually a result of the motor not turning correctly. This can be a result of something as simple as a broken propeller which is an easy fix or as complicated as bearings that have seized up.

If you see water puddles under the pump this is a good indication that the seals are leaking. Seals are also a cheap fix and certainly cheaper than replacing a pump.

If you hear a constant whine it could be that the bearing are worn from age and not correctly turning. Bearings are one of those parts that generally it is cheaper to replace the actual pump.

Pumps arent that expensive. Depending on which type you need you can expect to spend anywhere from $100 to $350 for a new one. And with such great selection online you are certain to be able to save a great deal. Be sure to do your homework.

Your hot tub is a lifetime investment so dont worry too much if you have to replace the occasional Jacuzzi spa pump. Think of it as one of the cost of all those hours of enjoyment..

A Guide On Spa Etiquette

After a week of endless work, crazy traffic jams and a few relationship misunderstandings here and there, your stress level is probably about to hit an all time high. Fortunately, a place called the spa has been invented to help you keep what's little left of your sanity. Needless to say, a trip to a nice spa can make a hell week heavenly.

To help you make the most out of your spa experience, here are some spa etiquette tips to follow:

- Don't be late for your appointment. Being late means you don't have respect for another person's time. But aside from being impolite, it also means you won't have enough time to relax or spend at the sauna or steam bath. Having sufficient time to relax before your massage session is vital in getting the most out of your spa experience.

- Before you arrive at the spa center, be sure to turn your cellular phone off or put it in silent mode so as not to bother other spa clients who just like you are craving for some quiet time. When you're in a spa, there is nothing more annoying than having your peaceful beauty rest disturbed by a loud silly ringtone.

- Discuss with the therapist and the spa center staff any issues that you may have. If you prefer a female therapist, or if you're not comfortable being massaged in nude, don't hesitate to tell them. Also, feel free to talk to them about preferences that you may have like type of music, lighting, room temperature or amount of massage pressure.

- Leave valuables at home. Even if most spas have lockers with lock, it's still safer not to bring any valuables when you get a spa treatment.

- Use the spa facilities with care. Be sure to ask for assistance in case you don't know how to operate any facility. There is nothing embarrassing in asking.

- If you're scheduled for several treatments, have the massage prior to the facial but the body treatment should go first before the massage.

- It's all right to have a chat with your therapist but don't feel obliged to do so if you prefer to some quiet time during the treatment.

- The therapist will give you ample time to rest and cool down after the massage session but it doesn't mean that it is okay to take a whole afternoon nap. Just spend a few minutes to cool yourself down and give yourself time to reenergize.

- Don't forget to give a 15% tip to your massage therapist. Be sure to let him or her know if you are pleased with the service. Show appreciation by recommending the therapist to your family and friends who are also massage aficionados.

Spa experiences are truly heavenly. With the peaceful ambience, sensual aroma and the pleasurable treatments available, it surely is nice to give yourself a break by visiting a spa. Indeed, there's no better way to reward yourself after working so hard and subjecting yourself to the rigorous and exhausting demands of your daily life.

Get the great spiritual healing with spa India

It is well said by someone that “people, who know how to catch the wind and taste the rain, experience the greatest pleasure of life.” However, at present no body has time to get face to face with these pleasures as everybody is running after money and success. In fact, life is wondrous and only those people soak its real essence who are spiritually tranquil. It is quite true that at present, there are very few things that delight human body and soul together; definitely, these things are getting great response from those people who are mentally and physically tired. Unfortunately, almost every human being is exhausted today and wants a soothing experience of spiritual relaxation. When it comes to spiritual relaxation, India is considered as the best place to treat the soul and body with the perfect blend of Ayurveda and Yoga. Spa in India provides a comfortable introduction to Ayurveda through massage and facial; in fact, theses spas are the best place to get complete mental and physical relaxation though Ayurveda and Yoga.

The industry of spa in India is small presently but as it is picking up and launching various centers, very soon it will be the largest spa industry of the world. In fact, globalization and lenient tourism services are playing a vital role in escalating the growth pace of this industry. Since international companies are showing interest in Indian spa industry, very soon resort spas will launch day spas to make it part of every stressed person’s life. Possibly, with involvement of new technologies from foreign brands, this industry of spa in India will attract people from all over the world. For people, who believe in Ayurveda, these spas can become a part of their routine life as with expansion of this industry existing spas will definitely reduce their charges.

In India, Mumbai is upcoming as the most flourishing market for spa operators; since this city is the one of the major tourist attractions, many spa operators are making their base here. It is quite disappointing that despite of being the origination place of Ayurveda, India’s gross domestic projects on spas are very less. However, this situation can be made better by converting resort spas into common centers. Many investors are looking to establish their spa in India since it is considered as the untapped market with bountiful opportunities.

As far as the technology is concerned, every spa in India is equipped with the latest technologies to comfort its clients. These spas use technologies like ultrasonic waves, far infrared rays, and ozone negative ions that truly add more value to the procedures of Ayurveda. Undoubtedly, these spas offer the purest form of the Ayurvedic practice by encompassing a holistic approach to soothe the tired soul and mind. Therefore, if you are stressed and want a holistic healing, then these spas can really do wonders in your life as their exclusive therapies touch your soul deeply and abridge every convolution.

The Truth About Spa Skin Care Products

The concept of the spa visit has expanded and exploded over the last decade or so. The amount of treatments available at spas for the body, hair, and the skin is staggering. With the rise in spa popularity, there has also been a proliferation of spa skin care products.

Spa skin care products are now available both on and off spa premises, and have become an integral part of the spa experience. There are more choices available then ever before. Spa products can become a wonderful component and memory of your spa visit, but it is important to keep a few essentials in mind when planning any skin care product purchases.

The most traditional way skin care products are offered is usually at the end of the spa visit. If you are receiving a facial, usually the Esthetician will recommend several products during your treatment. The Esthetician may emphasize several key areas of skin improvement, and when you are ready to leave the spa, will have products available for you to purchase. You should not be made to feel pressured to purchase a number of expensive skin care products. Ask about less expensive products, or purchase the 1-2 products that have the highest priority for you.

As with all skin care products, spa skin care product development takes advantage of the current innovations in treating problems such as aging, wrinkles, and acne. Spa products often emphasize clinical study results, and the research and technology behind the product. Demand is high for products that manage or prevent sun-damage to skin. You may want to spend some time reading the material and doing some initial research into the clinical studies before purchasing.

Many spa products are available for purchase before, during, and after your spa visit. Spas may offer exclusive lines on their website, and many spa skin care products are now being offered at a variety of retail outlets. If products are available to purchase during your visit, see about any type of discounts that are available. Many spas will offer you a discount if you purchase at the spa directly, instead of telephoning or going to their website.

Private label products are prevalent at spas. Private label means the spa has purchased the product directly from a manufacturer and have added their own logo and label. It's a similar concept to the food products you see in the supermarket, the grocery store will have a product with their own logo on it, although they did not manufacture the item itself. While, private label products are often just as effective as spa developed products, keep in mind that you are not receiving anything that is particularly unique to the spa, other than the packaging. You should ask whether the spa creates the skin care products themselves, and let that be a deciding factor for purchase.

Buying and using spa skin care products can be a rewarding experience if done properly. By doing some research and asking questions, you will come away from the spa with effective products, and without breaking your budget. That way, you can put more funds toward your next spa relaxation holiday!

How to Start, Open or Begin a Spa, Massage Clinic or Wellness Center

OPENING/STARTING YOUR OWN SPA, MASSAGE CENTER OR WELLNESS CENTER
(WITH EMPHASIS ON PHILIPPINE SETTING)
by Eunice
yunesa@yahoo.com

For several years now, a lot of people are asking me about how to start and what are the steps to make before starting their own spa, massage center or wellness center. I will give you seven (incidentally, my favorite number) MUST and NEEDED major steps in order for you to be well-prepared in starting your own spa, massage or wellness center. Although not step-by-step and dogmatic, this article will approach the issue in contemporary style and focus on the major things that you should be doing before opening or starting the business.

The first and foremost step is for you to identify what type of business will you be engaging in. Remember, that starting a business is like accepting a marriage proposal; you should know what you are getting into. Here in the Philippines, there is a saying that goes “hindi yan parang kanin na isusubo na kapag napaso ay iluluwa" let us apply that in a business situation, in this field, even if it is profitable... it is difficult, it will not be easy, whoever said it was di ba? Be able to answer the following questions: Are you putting up a massage center? A spa or a wellness center? Let us differentiate the three. A massage center focuses only on massage or bodywork therapies. Purely, massages lang ang i-o-offer mo. A spa on the other hand is a place where you can get spa treatments aside from massage. Siyempre kasama na dito ang facials and body treatments. Kung spa ang gusto mong itayo, then identify what type of spa ba ang itatayo mo? Will it be a hotel/resort spa, medical spa, club spa, cruise ship spa, airport spa, destination spa, atbp. or the most common, the day spa or sometimes referred to as a spa-lon or a combination of a spa and a salon. A wellness center is a lot more broad than a spa kasi ang wellness center ay nag-o-offer ng all of the things that I mentioned plus you also offer either fitness and exercise regimens, yoga, music therapy and other activities to enhance the well-being of your clients. Bakit mahalaga na i-dentify mo ang type of business mo especially if you are starting from scratches? Mainly because, the types of services that you will provide will depend largely on the type of business na mapipili mo. Of course, the wider the scope of your services the larger the capital that you will be needing. So, kung purely massages lang ang i-o-offer mas maliit ang capital as compared to a full-scale day spa or a wellness center.

Secondly, after identifying the type of business that you will be getting into, you have to know the government regulation regarding putting up a spa, massage clinic/ center or wellness center. Directly or indirectly man, you have to know the regulations of the Department of Health (DOH); also the regulations of the Department of Tourism; Department of Trade and Industry; and if you are putting up a spa under a corporation, eh di isama mo na rin ang Securities and Exchange Commission plus, don't forget your local government office or mayor's office, wherever your establishment will be located.

I will give you a concrete example, kung gusto mong magtayo ng spa, (some) of the minimum standard requirements in operating a spa establishment in the Philippines according to the revised rules and regulations of the Department of Tourism (DOT), would include, but is not limited to:
1. The location should be safe, reputable and conducive to relaxation.
2. There should be a reception center attended by qualified and trained staff with a lounge area commensurate with the size of the spa.
3. There should be clean and separate washroom areas for male and female clients.
4. The spa should be able to provide: different types of massages, steam, sauna, water baths and other spa treatments.
5. Locker and treatment rooms should be separate for male and female clients.
6. There should be suitable facilities and provisions for the disabled, a well-stocked first aid cabinet, an employees' lounge, backroom operations, adequate supply of linens, towels and garments, etc.
7. Staff should be trained by internationally recognized institutions or associations; shall be well-groomed, with proper attire and clean.
So, there you got a glimpse already of DOT's requirements. Alamin mo rin ang requirements ng iba't-ibang ahensiya ng ating gobyerno, like the Department of Health, and other governing bodies, as what I have mentioned above.

Third, you have to create your business plan. Nung una, kahit walang business plan okay lang mag start ng business parang before kahit hindi ka nakatapos ng pag-aaral madaling kumuha ng trabaho- not anymore, especially nowadays that it is more difficult earning money. Kaya as much as possible, dapat talaga gumawa ka ng business plan. Ika nga, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. If you have partners, sit down with your partners together with a spa consultant. The business plan should answer a lot of questions including your expected capitalization, location, marketing, your return of investment, break-even, and a whole lot of things - especially about financials etc. Your business plan should have a very strong marketing plan. Also, you as an owner or operator should be able to read the numbers. Alamin mong mabuti yung pre-operations na gastusin,

yung ROI mo kung kelan, atbp. Then after your business plan is finished, have this re-checked by a lawyer and an accountant. This is to ensure that you are complying with legal laws as well as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). The accountant will also be able to identify numerical deficiencies ng business mo so you can adjust even before starting and shelling out your hard earned money for capitalization.

Fourth, is to seek professional help:
Maaaring sabihin mo, “bakit ko pa kailangan ng professional help marunong naman ako?" (why do I need professional help, I can do it on my own) Examples, if you want to put up a website for your spa, contact a web developer/designer. Then since in step #3 you have contacted a spa and wellness consultant already who will guide you in your business idea. The spa consultant can recommend products, services and suitable materials for your concept. They will save you an enormous amount of money, time and effort by their professional advice. It is better to shell out a minimal amount for a spa consultant than shell out 100,000 pesos (approximately 2,000U$D) as your capital or even more without assurance of getting your profit back in the future. The spa and wellness consultant will be able to advice you on technical things and matters that only a professional would know. The spa consultant should be your trusted adviser. Then the spa consultant should meet your architect, interior designer or construction engineer or whoever is in charge of constructing your business establishment. I know that it is tempting to do everything yourself, but it is really best if you are doing more strategic and important things that only you can do. Kasi kung ikaw ang gagawa ng lahat (not unless if you are a spa consultant yourself, but even a spa consultant needs the help of a web designer, architect, etc. di ba?) mapapagod ka ng husto baka hindi pa nagsisimula ang spa mo eh lawit na dila mo. If you look at the most successful spas, you will observe that they do have a team of trusted advisors in place. So don't get stuck doing everything yourself. Leave the professionals to do their job and pay them for it.

Fifth, although this should already been laid out in your business plan, you should try it for yourself. Ito ang pinaka masarap at favorite kong part. Scout and try your competitors in your location. This means most, if not all, competitors within 15 miles or 25 kilometers from your location. Try their services, observe the cleanliness, how the staff treats you, the ambiance, what you like and don't like about their services, etc. This is also the time to ask questions at the reception area like what are their packages and programs, do they accommodate group scheduling, how long will be the treatment, the price, etc. Be very observant and take mental notes of your experience with them. Every time na lalabas ka sa spa, massage or wellness center nila- write it all down in a notebook. This will give you a glimpse of their strong and weak points as well as their operations.

Sixth, by this time, you should have completed your business plan and should be starting out your pre-opening marketing together with training of your staff. Your staff should be trained either or on both: their skills/technical training and their client services and referral building. If you decide to hire a trainer for their technical skills on massage, facials, body treatments, etc. Marami tayong magagaling na trainers especially sa massage. My resource book on massage, spa and wellness has a comprehensive list of training centers in the Philippines and abroad. You might be asking, how much is the training? Training period will be dependent on the number of services that you will offer: the more services that you will include in your menu the longer will be your training and the higher the cost for training. After this, train your staff in marketing, advertising, promotions, public relations and client care. Especially if you really do not know how the system works. Marketing is not just ads, flyers and posters. Hindi sapat ang mga ito (these are not enough). One of the most important but often neglected aspect is training staff regarding decorum and proper client handling. However skilled your staff is- if the service is bad, if they don't know how to communicate with clients or they don't ask for another appointment, wala rin. In short, if they don't ask, they don't get. So, it is very important that your staff should also be trained on things that would make your clients come back for more. Your people represent you, they are your backbone and clients are your bread and butter. Be sure to train your staff in making your clients remember about their experience, how they felt and making them addicted to the experience. Your spa consultant will guide you through this.

Since we are in the topic of how to open or start a spa, massage clinic and wellness center, I would like to stress that although this is a helpful guide, this is nowhere near being complete and perfect. So, the seventh step before you open your spa, massage and wellness center (in the Philippines), is be prepared for glitches, bumps and turns along the way. If you have done your part and what I have told you, you would have seen ups and downs along the way, be more prepared and creative to solve the problem and at least by doing so, you would have reduced your risk and eliminated possible big problems that would have come along the way.

Make Money by Creating Your Own Cottage Industry at Home With Spa and Beauty Products

The spa and beauty industry is the fourth largest leisure industry in the United States. Every time you open a glossy magazine, you are bombarded with advertisements for products to enhance your beauty. This industry continues to be highlighted in movies, television and articles, and growing numbers of consumers are looking to add the spa experience to their everyday lives.

The beauty industry rakes in $32 billion annually with fragrances, including bath and body products. The home fragrance market is an $8.4 billion business.

When you treat yourself to a day at the spa, you have to wonder why it costs so much. Most of what you are paying for is the overpriced designer products that they use, and of course you also are paying for the atmosphere.

Don't you agree that the hurried, stressful pace of your daily life often makes it difficult to find ways to relax? Like many people, you seek to create a restful retreat in your home -- one in which you can relax and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

Did you know that you can make your own spa products at home? You also can create a relaxing atmosphere at home with the help of candlelight which is soothing to the nerves, and a carefully chosen C.D. can take you into dream land.

Making your own soothing bath salts, exfoliating body scrubs, moisturizing body lotions, body butters and other spa products at home can save you a lot of money, but can also put you in the position to earn money from selling the wonderful spa products you have created.

A home-based cottage industry can earn you thousands of dollars, and really help financially in today's economy. You can sell your products to your friends, at craft fairs, on a bit larger scale at trade shows where all sorts of businesses come to place orders. This kind of industry also lends itself to home parties. The possibilities are limitless.

If you live in a tourist town, your label can reflect the town, and therefore making your products a wonderful souvenir. The New Generation Spa Man

The period of viewing the spa industry as primarily serving and attracting female clientele has changed. Men have swiftly joined the spa movement and are rapidly changing the way spas work and develop. According to various sources, more than 35% of spa goers are now male and the increase in male only spas has been predicted to only increase further in the upcoming years.

Spas have become and are becoming more and more gender neutral in response to changing times. Men no longer need to fear having their masculinity stripped from them while being massaged in a frilly, pink treatment room with vanilla and floral essence. Special treatments have now been designed with the male in mind. Unscented and masculine scents are used for treatments; longer bathrobes and massage tables are now being provided for improved comfort; masculine magazines and newspapers of interest are available for reading pleasure, and if you are really lucky you may even catch a glimpse of a flat screen T-V in the corner of your spa space. So what's not to like? Apparently the only complaint that seems to still surface from time to time, is the treatment duration and even this has been resolved with some spas offering quick 20 – 30 minute treatment slots for men.

Generally speaking, men have realized that spas not only have positive effects on their skin and sporting aches but also aid in reducing their stress levels more than a visit to their local pub would accomplish. Men are recognizing that by taking care of their skin they not only look younger but their skin also looks smoother after shaving. The benefits of visiting a spa after a sports workout has also been noted and a number of sports related massages have been designed to alleviate stress, improve muscle aches, increase circulation as well as improve flexibility in support of sports training.

While countless men are enjoying the benefits of spas alone or with their loved ones, some men still feel intimidated or feel they do not have the time due to demands placed on them from work and home pressures. So, why not give your husband or special someone a little nudge and spoil them with a treatment or spa relaxation break at your local spa? - Don't be surprised if they book the next spa treatment before you do!

New Spa Opened In Las Vegas

It seems the city that never sleeps has found a way to combine luxury, show and relaxation into one place: a spa. Spas and balneariums are begining to become something fashionable. Yes those water-surrounded environments that our grand-parents use to frequent are making their way out to the big public. Wheather we refer to executives and business people living stressful and heactic days or movie stars or plain and simple individuals or families looking to escape from their daily routine and tiredness while they are on holiday in Las Vegas, spas are one place to take a couple of hours and relax in.

But Las Vegas has to do everything in its own original and amazing style: spa with glamour and show. And pampering your body, wrapping your skin in aromatherapy products and letting yourself be spoiled by highly skilled spa therapeuts is the ultimate goal of spa facilities like the one Treasure Island inagurated this year: WET Spa.

WET spa features one hundred per cent the famous Las Vegas style. The spa offers guests all and when I mean all it means that. For those spa lovers like myself this place is the heaven brought to earth. The star here is the water, of course, and everything from interior designs to cloths and spa treatments reminds you that water is the key element to your well-being. In a completely Las Vegas party style, the Wet Spa gives you the chance of a nighttime spa menu to indulge in: body, facial, hands, foot and lips treatments, aromatherapy massages for your scalp, your entire body. The absolute relaxation elexir, Ylang Ylang drops make the day for the spa guest who decides to embrace oriental therapies. And because this new water altar has drawn the attention of Infospa, have a look at what you are going to enjoy in there if you decide to drop by Las Vegas in the future.

So, instead of dressing up for a night out in the old but very much alive and cool Vegas, now you have the opportunity to undress for a night in and pamper your body into a special pure water devine spa. Take your splash and enjoy...
